CSA 2022

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) – aka a weekly vegetable box

Get an assortment of nutritious, yummy vegetables once a week from our farm. You commit in advance to support us and pay ahead of time which will make our planning easier, and we commit to supply you each week with a share of salad, veggies and herbs. Details below.

Options:

We offer a full CSA from May until November or a half CSA from May until August or August until November. The size of the share is for 2 adults. Multiple shares can be purchased for one household if your demand is higher. We also have extra items (including eggs) available that can be purchased when you are picking up your share.

A weekly share will look something like this (depending on availability and season):

  • salad mix or spinach or arugula or mache (all washed)
  • 1 seasonal herb
  • 4 units of vegetables or occasionally flowers and spring transplants (you can expect the following: beans, beet greens, beets, broccoli, cabbage, carrots, cauliflower, celery, celeriac, chard, cucumbers, daikon, fennel, flowers, garlic, kale, red/yellow onions, pac choi, peas, peppers sweet and hot, potatoes, radicchio, fresh radish, watermelon radish, rutabaga, shallots, shoots, winter squash, sunchokes, tomatoes, tomatillos, salad turnips, zucchini, veggie/herb/flower transplants)

All vegetables are certified organic and the vast majority will be grown on our own farm. In addition, we work with Good Clean Farm in Truro, NS, Maple Shade Farm in Noel, NS and with Nature’s Route Farm in Pointe du Bûte, NB

1 dozen eggs each week (from Happy Bird Eggs-Upper Kennetcook – the hens are fed conventional non-GMO feed and are free range with access to the outside).Multiple shares of eggs can be purchased with your veggie share.

Contact us at order4seasons@gmail.com and let us know the following:

Your name, email, phone number
Full season or half season and which season: spring or fall
Do you want eggs?
Which location do you choose to pick up your share

Once you decide to participate, we will ask you to virtually sign an agreement which will outline all the details for our CSA.

Share a Share:

Unfortunately, the folks who need good food the most are rarely the ones who receive it. This year, we are offering to you the opportunity to sponsor CSA shares for local families in need. We are working with our local East Hants Food Bank and Between the Bridges in Dartmouth to distribute fresh, local produce to folks who do not have access to it otherwise.

We will donate a full season vegetable share to a family in our community. To do the same in your community, please get in touch! We will also accept donations toward a vegetable share, if you would like to sponsor one in part.

Thank you!
We appreciate your support!
